Day 6 of Theodora Hendrix’s Monstrous Halloween Bash

For the sixth and final day of ‘Theodora Hendrix’s Monstrous Halloween Bash’, we’re celebrating this spooky All Hollow’s Eve by dressing up. Even our pets are getting in on the fun – meet Camy!

Camy, the inspiration for the character Bandit, dressed up as a vampire-cat for Halloween

Camy is Jordan Kopy’s pet cat, and was the inspiration behind the character of Bandit the vampire-cat. Like Bandit, Camy is affectionate, clever, and an excellent hunter. Jordan says: “Camy is my best little buddy. I found her at an ‘Adopt-A-Thon’ at Grand Central station in New York City. She was about 5 years old and in rough shape, but I could tell right away that she had a lot of fight in her. It was love at first sight. I adopted her on the spot and took her home that very night. It remains the most impulsive and (one of the) best decisions I’ve ever made. Camy is my constant companion – I wrote most of THEODORA HENDRIX AND THE MONSTROUS LEAGUE OF MONSTERS with her snuggled up on my lap! She has such an expressive face and a strong personality (naughty, but loveable!) that’s I couldn’t resist making her a character. I think she’s rather pleased!”
