We’ve got a special treat for you today! We’re sharing some of our favorite illustrations from THEODORA HENDRIX AND THE MONSTROUS LEAGUE OF MONSTERS by illustrator extraordinaire, Chris Jevons. Which one is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!
The first image is from the first chapter, THE MLM, 13 BATTINGTON LANE, APPLETON, PUMPKINSHIRE, ENGLAND, EARTH. In this scene, zombie Georgie has just awakened from a year-long nap in a hobgoblin infested graveyard. He is pleased to find his very best friend, a clever vampire-cat named Bandit, waiting for him. He is less pleased to find a human baby, one Theodora Hendrix, waiting for him as well…

Our second sneak-peek image is from the chapter entitled SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES. In this scene, Theodora has her new friend, Dexter, over for a playdate. All is going according to plan – that is, until Bandit begins spitting up live mice, and Marty the werewolf (glamoured to look human) begins munching on a bone…

The third and final illustration is Jordan Kopy’s favorite! This image is from the chapter called SNEAKING, SNAKING, SNOOPING. In this scene, Theodora has gone to meet Goldie, an all-knowing, wish-granting creature called a Wosnak, to ask a favor. In order to get her wish, Theodora must correctly answer the Wosnak’s riddle…
